WHY CAN’T THE CONCERTS ALWAYS BE ON THE SAME DAY OF THE WEEK
AND AT THE SAME TIME OF DAY?
Once a determination has been made as to which artists would be preferred for the next season’s roster, it takes months of working with the performers’ travel schedules so they can hopefully perform at more than one venue in a geographical area. Most of our artists travel by bus or vans across the country for their performances versus flying in for one performance in Everett. In addition, we have to work with the availability schedule for the Everett Civic Auditorium since it is used not only by the Everett School District but also by many other entities in Snohomish County. Basically, the determination of day and time is at the mercy of performer(s) and auditorum schedules.
WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION?
There is ample street parking as well as a parking lot behind the Auditorium.
Disabled parking spots are also in areas close by.
MAY I RESERVE CERTAIN SEATS? IS THERE DISABLED SEATING?
Festival seating (no assigned seats) is offered on the main floor and in the balcony. A special seating area for wheel chairs and companions is located adjoining the lobby on both sides. The entire row of seats facing the wide horizontal aisle in the auditorium will be marked for additional handicap and one companion seating. A ramp to the front door allows wheelchair access to the auditorium. Handicap restrooms available in lobby area and through the doors to the side of the stage.
WHAT TIME DO THE DOORS OPEN?
There is no admission to the auditorium more than one hour prior to show time in order to allow the performers time to set-up and rehearse. Admission time may be less if the entertainers have not completed their rehearsal.
MAY I TAKE PHOTOS, VIDEO TAPE OR RECORD A PERFORMANCE?
All of our performers request that no photos, video taping or recordings are to be made by audience members without prior authorization.
CELL PHONE/ELECTRONIC DEVICES
We ask that all cell phones and electronic devices be turned completely off during the entire performance. A phone ringing and/or a brightly lit screen not only disturbs other audience members but can be distracting to performers.
